Just for Insurance Agents and their rights

Hello Agents!!!
Probably don’t know what is going on in your mind about this business of ours but one thing you should not allow to escape your mind is that currently the total contribution of insurance to the national economy per year in excess of 240 billion Naira. At only 10% commission, 24 billion naira goes to agents and broker. At about twice the minimum wedge of 25,000, it means that the industry is capable of employing  to 40,000 agents and brokers and they would still be earning reasonable money. To start with there are probably less than 12,000 agents and brokers in Nigeria and secondary the 240 billion is just a tip of the ice berg; insurance market in Nigeria is worth at lease 2 trillion Naira per year if the operators should shun mediocrity and glass hopper mentality. SO what does all this mean to you if you are already an insurance agent or about to become one? You can make really good in insurance business.
Now talking about your rights as an agent  don’t joke about it and don’t let any one make it over you.
First thing you must do is to know that for any business that would be yours you must have signed the proposal form in person and  if your management tries to cheat you in any way and have tried the conventional process without success then all hope is not lost complain tto the industry control, NIACOm
